I am Joe Byron, the woodworker and craftsman of all the items you see here at Byron Wood Designs.  Thank you for visiting my website.  I am a Central Pennsylvania native who, as a boy, learned the art of woodworking from my father.  My wood designs are crafted from the highest quality wood from all over the world.  I specialize in rare and exotic wood pens, which give customers a chance to own materials they might never otherwise see, except perhaps in museums.  What people really love about my designs is that, in addition to the woodworking craft that I have refined over many years, I use wood that has personality, character.  I select the most interesting parts of a particular billet, board, or plank, and work the most intriguing aspects of the natural figure, grain, and formations into the pen’s unique design.
